The World of Warcraft: Cataclysm beta test was live. Patch 3.3.5 is a minor content patch introducing the Ruby Sanctum raid and cross-game chat. The patch was launched on US servers on 22 June 2010 and on other servers on 30 June 2010.

World of Warcraft's patch 3.3.5 is in the process of rolling out worldwide, and it brings with it the latest endgame content; the Ruby Sanctum raid. This bastion of the red dragonflight, allies of heroes of both of Azeroth's factions, has been assaulted by vengeful members of the black and twilight dragonflights, and the heroes must now protect the red dragons from their jealous kin.

Unlike the Obsidian Sanctum, however, none of the Ruby Sanctum mini-bosses can be optionally ignored to make the final battle more difficult. It's time to update your mods however, as the patch broke a huge number of addons from unitframes to chat mods (no brainer there, really). The game underwent some significant UI changes, particularly to the chat UI, and there aren't really mods available yet to address the changes so players will have to make do with what's around until the modders out there have time to cook something up.
